The process




All of my work is original and I only tattoo each piece once.
Due to the abstract nature of my work, the process is somewhat intuitive and most of my custom designs are created as a conscious collaborative effort between me and the person I am tattooing.
Since the direction and feel of each piece largely depends on the person and their own unique vibe, I don’t send out designs prior to the appointment. All the magic happens on the spot. This has proved to be the most organic way.
Both of us present in the creative process ensures that we can create a piece that is special, fitting and specific to each individual. We usually use the first couple or few hours of our session to chat, explore ideas, draw the design on, apply stencils and fit it to your vibe and body to flow naturally. We will go back and forth until we are both happy with how the design feels and looks before we start tattooing. Sometimes this process takes 1-2 hours, but sometimes it can take up to 3-4 hours with more complex or larger pieces. My prices are tailored to make this possible while keeping it fair for both of us.

To avoid rushing and to make sure that I can give each piece the attention it deserves, I only book one person a day and I only release a limited number of available spots each month.

It is advised to not plan anything important later that day so we don’t have to rush and we can maintain spaciousness throughout our session.










Rates






  • Short day rate: $700


Includes the design process (up to 4 hours) and up to 2.5 hours of tattooing. Ideal for small to medium size tattoos.




  • Long day rate: $1100


Includes the design process (up to 4 hours) and up to 4 hours of tattooing.
If we end up going over the 4 hours of tattoo time, additional hours will be charged at my hourly rate of $250/hour.

For larger and more complex work, additional sessions may be required and will be charged at an hourly rate of $250/hour with a 2 hour minimum. If there is a substantial amount of additional designing involved, they will be treated as short or long day sessions depending on the time spent tattooing.



* Please note that I won’t be able to estimate which price category your tattoo will fall into prior to our appointment or if it will require any additional hours. The deciding factor will be the amount of time we end up spending on your new tattoo.
I generally tattoo pretty quick, but it all depends on the size, level of detail, placement and level of difficulty of each piece.
Please prepare for both options and bring extra funds, just in case, so there are no unexpected surprises.





Deposits & payment methods



To secure your appointment a $300 non-refundable deposit will be required, which will be applied to the final price of your tattoo.

The preferred payment method at my studio is cash, but credit cards are also accepted.
Important note: Credit card transactions will include an additional 8% fee: sales tax (4.5%) and processing fees (3.5%).




Cancellation policy



Deposits are non-refundable.

Before booking, please make sure that you are fully commited and will be able to make the time.
As an artist and a one person operation, I try to utilize my time and energy as best as I can to be able to give each and every project my all.
Since I only book one person a day, last minute cancellations, no-shows and sudden requests for rescheduling can often result in me losing that whole day. With the limited number of spots that I am able to offer each month, losing any can have a considerable impact. Trying to fill spots last minute can be a challenge so if for some reason you can’t make it to your appointment or need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible by emailing me at tamas@unbound.ink to give me a better chance at filling the spot.
If I hear from you at least 7 days before our appointment we can simply reschedule you to a later date without forfeiting your deposit.
